Every day is a good day for feedback, but there are some especially good days coming up, including World Gratitude Day, World Mental Health Day and World Kindness Day. You can use these international days in feedback campaigns to strengthen your feedback culture and improve employee engagement.

The value of feedback campaigns was seen at our most recent UK Best Practice Group, where one of our clients, a global PR firm, showcased its ‘Feedback Fridays’ campaign. They used existing mailing lists to send a nudge every Friday, with a link to Performance Leader, resulting in a 400% increase in feedback given.

Earlier this year, to recognise those who contribute the most to building a feedback culture, we released a major update to our Fast Feedback reporting dashboard, as shown below. It shows feedback giving and requesting trends over time and identifies the top contributors. This helps leaders to understand feedback behaviour and the effectiveness of feedback campaigns, and highlights people who are driving the feedback culture – including many hidden heroes.

Sharing this report at leadership meetings is an easy way to engage leaders in building a feedback culture.
